Vehicle used to break into South Nashville coffee shop

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a vehicle was used to break into a coffee shop in South Nashville early Friday morning.

The burglary happened at the Red Bicycle Coffee on Nolensville Pike around 2:15 a.m.

Surveillance video shows the suspect driving into the front doors, rushing behind the counter to take cash and grabbing a Diet Coke on his way out.

The owner told News 2 his whole team is there to pick up the pieces so they can continue serving the South Nashville community.

Investigators believe this break in could be connected to others in the area.

No additional information was immediately released. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
