NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — New video shows the moments three suspects brazenly robbed a jewelry store in South Nashville last week.

Two suspects connected to the robbery—identified as 34-year-old Orlando Valdes-Hernandez and 38-year-old Milleni Garcia—were arrested in Miami on Sunday, Oct. 27 in cooperation with the Metro Nashville Police Department.

Valdes-Hernandez and Garcia were both in court Monday, facing armed robbery, assault and kidnapping charges. However, a third suspect connected to the case has not been located.

Surveillance video from inside Dubai Jewelry on Nolensville Pike shows the suspects entering the shop at approximately 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct 23. Garcia was seen with a wig, and both suspects were wearing hats and sunglasses.

After looking around the store for about three minutes, the third suspect enters the shop and locks the door behind him. That’s when Hernandez jumps over the counter with pepper spray and pushes the employee into a back room out of sight.

The other two proceed to steal over $1 million worth of gold and jewelry before leaving the store.

“These two offenders were extremely brazen,” said the Miami Beach Police Department. “They walked into the jewelry store posing as customers, and shortly thereafter, held these two employees at gunpoint before stealing about $1.7 million of jewelry and gold.”

According to the store owner, who News 2 spoke with on the day of the robbery, there were two workers— one employee and one volunteer— inside at the time the suspects entered.

“They push them to the back, to the back side of the store, they put the gun to their head,” said the owner. “Attack you, and you are not ready for it. This is the second time in just two years this has happened to us. But this time, huge.”

Garcia and Hernandez are now awaiting extradition back to Tennessee from Florida. The third suspect remains at large.

If you have any information about him, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. A reward is being offered for any information leading to the man’s arrest, according to MNPD.
