Strong storms possible Thursday night into early Friday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Strong storms are expected now in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky Thursday night through Friday morning.

There is a marginal risk (1/5) for areas along I-65 and west. Parts of Henry and Carroll Counties are under a slight risk (2/5).

The main threats will be damaging winds and heavy rain. There is a low risk for hail. The tornado threat, although low, is not zero.

Storms will start to fire Thursday evening and become widespread overnight. They do clear out of our area by dawn.
