NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Southwest Airlines announced six new destinations from Nashville International Airport (BNA) on Wednesday.

Service to the following cities will begin on April 8, 2025:

Albuquerque, N.M.

Albany, N.Y.

Jackson, Miss.

Memphis, Tenn.

Providence, R.I.

Tulsa, Okla.

“The new flights will boost Southwest’s scheduled presence in Nashville to an all-time high of 174 Sunday departures in April and May 2025,” a press release from the airline reads in part.

Southwest has not flown between Nashville and Albuquerque since May 1988, nor has it flown between Nashville and Providence since November 2011.

“The announcement of Southwest’s extended schedule continues to strengthen their commitment to the region,” President and CEO of Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, Doug Kreulen, said. “Whether you are headed up north to visit the capital of New York or out west for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, there is a nonstop option from BNA.”

Last month, the company announced several other nonstop flights, including a daily nonstop service to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI).

Travelers can visit Southwest’s website to book their flights.
