VIENNA, Ill. (WKRN) – Several residents traveled near and far to get a look at the totality of the 2024 solar eclipse, and among them was meteorologist Davis Nolan.

Davis and his family made the drive up to Vienna, Illinois, one of the cities in the path of totality, to document the event.

Once the daylight began to fade as the moon made its way in front of the sun, the streetlights in the area began to turn back on, but nothing compared to the moment of totality.

Cameras were rolling as soon as the total eclipse happened, and the moment was met with cheers and expressions of awe and amazement from everyone in the path of totality.

While a total solar eclipse is often described as a once-in-a-lifetime event, many of us are lucky enough to have seen the phenomenon twice, the first time being in August 2017.
