NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – As the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) continues the search for missing University of Missouri student Riley Strain, surveillance video has now been released showing one of the last times he was seen.
Authorities said the video shows Strain crossing 1st Avenue North to Gay Street at approximately 9:47 p.m. on Friday, March 8.
Strain’s family told News 2 he was in town for a fraternity formal and was last seen Friday after he was reportedly kicked out of Luke Bryan’s bar on Broadway.
According to police records, the 22-year-old’s friends called 911 Saturday morning to file a missing person report after they tried to locate Strain via his Snapchat location but were unable to find him in the last reported location.
MNPD said Strain’s family last tracked his cellphone location to Gay Street and James Robertson Parkway, which is very close to the cell tower where his phone last pinged, and less than a mile from Luke Bryan’s bar on Broadway.
Strain is described as 6-feet, 5-inches tall, 160 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. As shown in the video, he last seen wearing a brown button-up shirt with a black chest pocket with blue jeans, brown boots and a black Apple watch.
