Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Southern KY flown to Middle TN hospital

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) — Authorities have launched an investigation into a Sunday afternoon crash in Warren County that left a pedestrian injured.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at the intersection of Cemetery Road and Roger Porter Road just before 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25.


Motorcycle passenger dead after crash along Old Hickory Boulevard

Investigators determined the pedestrian exited their vehicle to remove debris from the road and then got hit by a silver SUV heading eastbound on Cemetery Road, according to officials.

Authorities said the victim was flown to a hospital in the Nashville area, but there is no word on that person’s condition at this time.

The sheriff’s office posted on Facebook shortly after 8:45 p.m. that the crash reconstruction and investigation were still ongoing.

No additional details have been released about this incident.
