Nick Cannon Says He Doesn’t Give The Mothers Of His 12 Children A Monthly Allowance, But Does Still Provide For Them: ‘What They Need, They Get It’

Media mogul Nick Cannon’s co-parents will never want for anything.

The “Masked Singer” host shared a little about his role financially as a father of 12 during a recent interview, clearing up any previous misconceptions about monthly allowances for his children’s mothers.

Nick Cannon began by gushing about the six women, explaining why he will never speak about them disrespectfully. He reportedly stated:

“I have so much respect and admiration for the individual. Everybody has their challenges – but when you really understand this woman has given the greatest sacrifice and sacrificed her body to bring a child into [this world], that’s the best gift any man could ask for,”

Adding:

“Regardless of what goes on in any scenario, I’m gonna always show love and respect…I’ll never say anything disrespectful or bad about any of the mothers of my children.”

The 42-year-old continued, diving into his financial obligations and child support arrangements. Nick Cannon previously spoke about the matter last year when it was rumored the TV star was shelling out over $3 million in yearly child support payments.

At the time, the Wild N’ Out creator debunked the stories, alleging he spends “a lot more” than the reported amount on his family dynamic. More recently, Cannon expressed that his situation is actually beyond a monthly stipend, instead insisting that he unconditionally provides for the mothers. He reportedly continued:

“It ain’t even about a monthly allowance or amount of money because I don’t give myself that…What they need, they get it.”

Adding:

“There’s never been something that one of the mothers of my children has asked for and they didn’t receive…. That’s why they call me the provider.”

Cannon shares twins with superstar singer Mariah Carey, three children with model Brittany Bell, three children with model Abby De La Rosa, two children with model Alyssa Scott – though one child named Zen passed shortly after birth, one child with model Bre Tiesi and another with “Price Is Right” model LaNisha Cole. Four of the growing Cannon bunch were born just last year alone.
Earlier this month, we reported that the entertainer alluded to another possible baby announcement. Cannon shook fans, taking to Twitter writing:
“EXPECT some big news tomorrow…”
However, the reveal actually ended up being a coming TV game show, seemingly based around Cannon’s untraditional family dynamic. The series will be hosted by Kevin Heart and will premiere on E! network this spring.
