MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two Nashvillians were taken into custody on Monday afternoon after the Mt. Juliet Police Department stopped them for speeding.
The department said that during the stop, officers discovered that one of the people in the car was a 29-year-old woman who was wanted and gave false information to avoid arrest.
“A search revealed two firearms—one with a removed serial number—along with crack cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia,” the department said in a post to X, formerly Twitter.
She was arrested for multiple charges, including criminal impersonation, possession of marijuana and cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during a felony. She also had a warrant out of Robertson County.
A 45-year-old man was also in the car and was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of cocaine with intent to resell, altering a firearm’s serial number and other related charges.
