Lupita Nyong’o Confirms She’s Single After Rumored Joshua Jackson Romance

Lupita Nyong’o is officially single again after her rumored romance with Joshua Jackson seems to have cooled off.

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, Lupita Nyong’o dropped the news while discussing her love for her cat, Yoyo.

She shared,

“My love for my cat is singular. If I’m ever so lucky to be in a romantic relationship again, it’ll be because of him.”

Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua Jackson first sparked romance rumors in October 2023, shortly after his split from Jodie Turner-Smith. The pair appeared to confirm their relationship in December when they were seen holding hands in Joshua Tree, and their connection deepened when they were photographed kissing on the beach during Lupita’s 41st birthday in March.

Although Lupita didn’t mention Joshua Jackson in her interview, she did reflect on her breakup with another ex, Selema Masekela. “It’s hard enough to go through heartbreak privately,” she shared, adding that the split was even more challenging due to its public nature.
