‘Love Island USA’ Finalist Kendall Washington & Nicole Jacky Officially Split Days After Explosive Reunion

We now have our first couple from Love Island USA season 6 finalist to call it quits.

Late last night (Tuesday, Aug. 20) Nicole Jacky revealed via her IG Story that Kendall Washington ended their relationship. If you’ve been online lately then you may already be aware of the huge success Love Island USA experienced with its recently wrapped season 6. The latest season, which premiered on June 11 and aired its reunion special on Aug. 19, made history as the most-watched streaming series in the US, bringing in over 1.1 billion minutes watched at one point, according to reports.

Unfortunately, life off the island hasn’t been the smoothest for all the contestants, including Kendall Washington, who had an explicit video of him leaked online shortly after he won 4th place alongside his then-girlfriend Nicole Jacky. The leaked video was seemingly the start of the end for the former lovers as the reunion revealed Kendall Washington lied to Nicole Jacky about when the footage was taken. However, he also shared she wasn’t the most supportive as he dealt with his intimate moment being shared online.

Following the explosive reunion, many wonder where the pair stood and we now have the answer. Breaking the news of their split, Nicole wrote,

“On August 18th, Kendall and I agreed our relationship was worth working on, and we were making plans for me to visit him in Dallas soon. However, today, on August 20th, he called and ended things. While I understand an respect his decision, it’s hard to process this one.”

Sharing his side of things, Kendall said in his own post that he decided to break up with Nicole because things were no longer healthy. He added,

“I still love and care for Nicole. I’ve never developed such strong feelings for a woman in my life. I have no regrets for the connection I made with her in the villa and it was real.”
