Law enforcement operation underway in Cane Ridge neighborhood

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Law enforcement officials engaged in a standoff situation in Cane Ridge early Tuesday morning.

Just after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, federal and local officers were seen outside a residence on Orseman Lane — near Burkitt Road — tossing items inside and firing rubber bullets. News 2 crews on the scene reported windows on the front and back of the residence were blown out.

Officials told News 2 the situation was part of an arrest warrant operation.

No additional information was immediately released.
