NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Nashville Zoo has gotten into the Halloween spirit with its annual Boo at the Zoo event.
“New this year, we have the 40-foot tall Ferris wheel for kids to ride [and] parents to ride,” Leah Trice with the Nashville Zoo told News 2. “[There are] plenty of things for everybody to enjoy!”
Attendees can expect to have a hauntingly good time and enjoy:
Magically lit scenes
Straw creatures
Flamingos, tigers and animals in the Unseen New World
Storytime with the Old Oakley Tree
A Monster Mash Dance Floor
Free rides on the Scary-Go-Round
The Pumpkin Patch
A Fall Fun Zone
Carn-Evil Carnival Games
Costumed characters
Trick or treat stations, where children between 2 and 12 are eligible to receive a free souvenir bag
On weekends, you also have the chance to meet Gourdon the Talking Pumpkin for some classic jokes.
Boo at the Zoo runs nightly through Halloween from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The Zoo’s ambassador animals will be putting on shows nightly at 5:45, 6:45 and 7:45.
Children under 2 can always attend the spooky event for free. Parking is $10. Tickets for adults, teens and other young people are $19 each on all days between Monday and Thursday; tickets for adults, teens and other young people cost $23 on Fridays through Sundays. Zoo members can save $3 per ticket and park for free.
