DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Instead of handing out tickets on Sunday, the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office handed out toys, bikes, clothes, shoes, and more!

As part of the “Toy Patrol” event on Sunday, Dec. 1, parents of students at Dickson County Schools got to shop with a school resource officer and pick out Christmas gifts.

Deputies collect toys and money throughout the year to make this giveaway possible.

A total of 250 families were helped by this year’s event. Plus, kids got to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
