Authorities seeking man wanted for aggravated vehicular homicide, other charges in Humphreys County

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Humphreys County deputies are searching for a man facing charges for a deadly crash from two years ago who reportedly failed to show up for his trial Tuesday.

According to the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office, James Eric Warden is wanted for aggravated vehicular homicide, reckless endangerment, Schedule I drugs, aggravated child abuse/neglect/endangerment, and other felony charges.

Officials said Warden was last seen in McEwen at approximately 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, driving a gray 2012 Chevy Impala with a trailer hooked up to it and a tag of 330 BMFK.

Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis told News 2 Warden was wanted in connection with a crash from two years ago and didn’t come to court for his trial on Tuesday, Aug. 13. However, no additional details were shared about the circumstances surrounding that deadly crash.

Authorities warned that Warden is possibly armed, so if you see him, you are urged to use caution.
