50 Cent Questions How Drake Lost Rap Beef w/ Kendrick Lamar ‘If He Got $300-Something Million On His Last Tour’

50 Cent is sharing his thoughts on the ongoing tensions in hip-hop, specifically the feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

In a recent interview with Billboard, 50 Cent acknowledged the struggles artists face in maintaining their status in an industry known for its low attention span. He noted,

“Drake is in that position right now. They’re trying to resist the music because he put out some things that are dope.”

He emphasized that the negativity directed at Drake isn’t a reflection of his talent, saying,

“I didn’t see where what [Drake] did was wack at any point… That’s the system trying to create some sort of resistance.”

When asked if he gave Drake any advice following the feud, 50 Cent didn’t hold back, explaining,

“I said, ‘They said you lost, okay. Well, what did you lose?’ What exactly did he lose if he got $300-something million on his last tour?”

He encouraged Drake to stay focused and keep creating, stating,

“If you slow down because you feel, ‘What the f–k?’ the resistance will make you feel like your material isn’t good.”
