Woman wanted for deadly shooting in Antioch arrested in Kentucky

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities in Kentucky arrested a woman Friday who was wanted for a deadly shooting in Antioch.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said 37-year-old Nicole Tishma was arrested at a motel in Oak Grove, Kentucky, on Friday, Feb. 16. Tishma was arrested on a Nashville probation violation and had a criminal homicide warrant issued against her Friday evening.

Police said the investigation shows 34-year-old Steven Yates was targeted for a drug-related robbery. He was shot and killed Wednesday, Feb. 14, outside a candle company in the 2900 block of Old Franklin Road where he worked. A manager reportedly arrived at the facility and found a trail of blood from a vehicle leading into the building.

Authorities said Tishma was developed as a suspect on Thursday, Feb. 15. It was determined she fled to Oak Grove, Kentucky, where she was arrested Friday morning with help from Kentucky authorities.
