Woman injured after shooting in West Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are investigating after a woman was shot and injured early Tuesday morning in West Nashville.

Metro police responded to the 5800 block of Maudina Avenue just after 12:40 a.m.

Officials said the woman was shot in the arm and suffered non-life-threatening wounds.

Detectives are continuing to investigate what led up to the shooting. No additional information was immediately released.
