Usher & Longtime Girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea Obtained Marriage License Before Super Bowl Performance

We hear wedding bells! Before setting the stage on fire at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Usher made a personal move by obtaining a marriage license with his partner, Jennifer “Jenn” Goicoechea, in Clark County, Nevada.

According to PEOPLE, the Grammy-winning artist, 45, and the music executive took this step on Thursday, Feb. 8. While their official marriage certificate hasn’t been filed yet, this behind-the-scenes development adds an extra touch of romance to his high-energy performance.

Usher and Goicoechea’s romance first caught attention when they were photographed together at producer Keith Thomas’ 40th birthday party in June 2019.

Their bond deepened as they welcomed their first child, daughter Sovereign Bo, in 2020, followed by their son, Sire Castrello, in 2021.
