Tori Kelly Remains In ‘Serious’ Condition After Collapsing & Being Hospitalized, Sources Say Doctors Found Blood Clots Surrounding ‘Vital Organs’

According to reports, the “Should’ve Been Us” artist was rushed to the hospital recently and remains in “serious” condition.

Reportedly, Tori Kelly, 30, was at dinner with friends Sunday night (Jul. 23) in L.A. when she made a comment about her heart beating faster than normal. Shortly after, sources say the songstress collapsed and was “out for a while” before being rushed to the hospital. Friends reportedly transported Kelly in her vehicle instead of calling for an ambulance to ensure she’d be taken to Cedars-Sinai, which is hailed as one of the best medical centers in the country.

Upon arrival, Kelly was reportedly taken to the ICU where doctors discovered blood clots in her legs and lungs. Reports also note the Grammy Award winner was in and out of consciousness. Medical professionals are reportedly still ensuring there are no complications surrounding the singer’s heart and said she remains in “serious” condition. At this time, it does not appear that Kelly’s reps have spoken publicly about the health scare.

As reports of the musician’s situation began to spread, fans and supporters took to social media to send Kelly well wishes. In case you’re unfamiliar, the multi-talented singer first began putting out music via Youtube at the age of 14. At 16, Kelly became a break-out contestant on “American Idol,” despite not going on to win the competition. Since then, she’s released several EPs and albums and in 2019 she won two Grammys for Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song.

After taking a media hiatus in 2020, Kelly surprised fans earlier this year with new music and style, donning curly dark locks instead of her signature blonde look. She premiered a new single “Missin U” back in March, announcing a forthcoming album. Now, it seems fans want nothing more but to hear that their fav is back on her feet.
