Man found shot to death inside Clarksville home, police say

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities have launched a homicide investigation after a man was shot and killed inside a Clarksville home early Tuesday morning.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, officers received a 911 call at approximately 4:48 a.m. about a shooting that had already occurred inside a home along Chapel Street.

When officers arrived at the scene, they reportedly found a man with a gunshot wound deceased inside the home.

A witness allegedly told police that two people came into the home, shot the victim and fled the scene.

Homicide detectives said an investigation into the deadly shooting remains ongoing. No additional details were immediately released.
