Judge Mathis’ New Series ‘Mathis Court w/ Judge Mathis’ Receives 90% Distribution Clearance Across Syndicated Markets
The forthcoming court series hosted by TV persona Judge Mathis recently secured a major win!
According to reports, the daytime show titled Mathis Court With Judge Mathis rallied a 90% distribution clearance across syndicated markets ahead of its fall 2023 premiere.
As we previously reported, fans of the longest reining TV judge were saddened to hear that the Judge Mathis original court series was canceled after 24 seasons earlier this year. However, it wasn’t long before media mogul Byron Allen announced he signed a deal with Judge Greg Mathis to join his array of courtroom TV series. Byron Allen reportedly stated about the partnership:
“We at Allen Media Group are proud to add ‘Mathis Court With Judge Mathis’ to our amazing portfolio of court shows,”
“Judge Greg Mathis is an outstanding, charismatic, and iconic television host, and we are extremely confident that our eighth and newest court series with Judge Mathis will be very successful for years to come as he joins our outstanding roster of talent.”
Reportedly, the new series “has clearances with group-owned TV stations including; Nexstar, Tegna, Weigel, Scripps, Hearst, Gray, Cox Media Group, and several others.” Additionally, the legal drama will be available on broadcast television stations, global networks, cable, and digital distribution platforms.
It’s noted that the series will run 1 hour daily, and will feature a segment where Judge Greg Mathis offers expert legal commentary relevant to local news stories. An official release date has not been reported at this time.
