Southern Entertainment Awards holds landmark events!

More than two decades ago the Southern Entertainment Awards (SEA) were created to address the glaring lack of recognition being given to many of the region’s premier talents in multiple areas.

Over that time the event has evolved into one of the nation’s most anticipated and inclusive ceremonies, one that not only recognizes and awards outstanding achievements but also features spectacular performances from top guests. The event has also had several A-list celebrities serve as hosts. The honor roll of  prime past nominees/winners/performers includes B.o.B., Yo Gotti, Big K.R.I.T., Dj Drama, Drumma Boy, Tay Keith, Bandplay, City Girls, Algebra Blessett, Avery Sunshine, Mike Will, 2 Chainz, and HittKid among others.

On Sunday, May 28th, some of the hottest names in arts and entertainment will once again convene to honor the 2023 SEA Award winners. It will be hosted by Solo (the Program Director of Streetz945 in Atlanta) along with other special guests and held at Nashville’s City Winery, 609 Lafayette Street. The Red Carpet kicks things off at 5 p.m. In the words of SEA Co-Founder Janiro Hawkins “We’re truly appreciative to be able to provide a platform for two decades and have an impact on the culture. Twenty years is an accomplishment worth celebrating and that is exactly what we intend on doing in May.
