NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person was brought to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a building at Terrace Park Townhomes near Donelson Sunday night, according to officials.
Metro Nashville dispatch said a crash was reported shortly after 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18 near the intersection of Elm Hill Pike and Timber Valley Drive.
The Nashville Fire Department told News 2 that crews were dispatched to the 3100 block of Elm Hill Pike for reports of a crash with possible entrapment.
When first responders arrived on scene, they said they found a vehicle had run into an apartment building, causing the building to be unstable. The Nashville Office of Emergency Management was asked to come to the scene with resources to help stabilize the building.
Officials said one person was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but there is no word on that person’s condition.
No additional details have been released about this incident, but News 2 has a crew at the scene working to gather more information.
